Islate Is Environmental Friendly and Consumes less Power

Slate which is being used to learn the alphabets in the childhood and the design of slate is changing with digital features. Islate is the one which is having digital features and it is entertaining the children. This slate is being introduced by the Nanyang Technological University and Rice University together. This is available at low price and another feature is that it works with solar energy. This tablet is mainly formed by considering the villages in India and they will soon be available for more than 100 million Indian students. In the August 2010, a trail slate had been introduced for the students for trial and they are making the required changes based on the feedback given by the students who used it. After the modifications, this slate will be introduced. Islate will consume very low electricity when compared to the traditional tablet PC. They are not harmful for the environment also. Students who belong to the Rice University had designed the mathematical applications for the students which will be available on the Islate. There are estimations that the Islate will be released into the market after pricing at Rs.1000.
